Albania and Serbia establish joint Chamber of Commerce

Albania and Serbia have agreed to establish a joint Chamber of Commerce, as the two Balkan countries move forward in their cooperation for stronger regional stability. The initiative has been presented on Thursday evening during the National Business Fair ‘Klik Expo Group’, held in Tirana.

During a press conference, the Albanian Minister of Transport and Infrastructure congratulated the agreement and highlighted the fact that ‘formalizing the joint Chamber of Commerce will certainly increase the economic collaboration between these countries and further improve their relation in the region’.

He also added that the Albanian government will be a strong support for this initiative, ensuring its total sustention to accelerate other joint agreements between Albanian and Serbia.

On the other hand, the deputy head of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Miryoub Aleksic expressed his confidence that ‘this new cooperation between Serbia and Albania will increase trade relations and will be an institutional support of business interests.

This agreement has been also supported by the Albanian Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce in Tirana and many Serbian businesses that operate in Albania for many years.
