Albanian Politicians end Political Crisis, McAllister congratulates Albania
Socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama and Lulzim Basha, Chairman of the opposition Democrats (PD), confirmed their agreement on Thursday in Tirana, but did not mention any details.
David McAllister, German politician and Member of the European Parliament, who is also the inciator of f the agreement between the majority and the opposition, congratulated the arrengament.
“I am pleased that the efforts of the European Union and the United States to end the political crisis in Albania at the end were successful. The key message is: sustainable solutions can then be achieved if the government and the opposition direct dialogue with each other and are looking for,” says McAllister.
