Charity worker jailed for 20 years for child abuse in Albania could be freed
A Scottish charity worker jailed for 20 years in Albania for child abuse could be freed after his accusers said they were told to lie to a court.
David Brown has served 11 years behind bars for molesting boys at a children’s home he ran for troubled youngsters.
Two victims now aged 18 and 22 have said they were pressured to make false allegations and will admit lying in court, reports the Sunday Mail.
Brown, who has always protested his innocence, told the Scottish paper he believes he may now be freed.
If released he said he will look to pick up the pieces of his work in Albania.
